Challenge
Bad user Experience in general and UI is not good for user from range 40-50 years old, but end user has been use the system for almost ten years. So that make sure the gap between old behavior and news experiences is very important....
Goal
Review the current Microsoft Access applications to understand the application flow, business rules, business processes, data structure and user behaviors. Suggest a centralized responsive Web application with a new and modern UI focus on usability, user experience and mobility that can achieve the same business goals. The portal needs to be reliable, accessible 24/7, maintainable, easy to use and help to maximize efficiency.
Solution
Based on the client's old system we made the current user flow by high level and then the detail level for each feature. And based on the overall assessment of decentralization as well as AI, we have come up with a new flow. After having User Flow for each feature, we proceed to make the sorting card step and implement the sitemap Depending on each user's needs (reporter, technician, or manager) will have different needs, so it is most important to structure information so that users can conveniently work to suit their needs. For example Manager will have to manage the master file (original data file, changes will affect the entire application) Dashboard and report are the most importance part of Kraftheinz Portal. Mostly they need to user it every day and the data need to be transparent so that, Clear and simple UI help Users easier to scan and track the results.
System Research
Our team of UX designers worked closely with Kraft Heinz to understand their business needs and user pain points. We conducted user research, interviews, and workshops to gain insights into the complex and varied workflows. We then designed a comprehensive and integrated system that covered all aspects of the production process, from crop planning and management, to production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management. We designed a user-friendly interface with easy navigation and intuitive features. The system included advanced reporting capabilities, which provided real-time data and analytics, enabling users to make informed decisions quickly. We also incorporated mobile applications, enabling workers to access the system from their mobile devices while in the field or on the go.
Results
The new system led to significant improvements in productivity, efficiency, and data accuracy. The integrated system eliminated redundancies and errors, reducing manual data entry and saving time. The new system also provided real-time visibility into production data, enabling users to make informed decisions quickly. The mobile applications improved accessibility and enabled workers to be more productive, even while working remotely. Overall, the project was a success and helped Kraft Heinz achieve their business goals.
